Real, Everyday Women

I have been thinking about this blog post for a long time. And it is not easy to organize a post like this. I thought about doing many different things but what I thought tonight was "just do it..."

So here are 120 random photos from my computer of clients/friends/acquaintances. These are every day women. Ones who stay at home with their children, own businesses, travel the world. They exercise, they eat well and this is their bodies.

Most all of these pictures are of active women who exercise atleast 4 times a week, and who eat healthier than 90% of Americans.

All of us are guilty of comparing ourselves to what we see in the media. But the reality is, the media is not real. Those models live a rigorous lifestyle of dieting and exercise, they WORK to make themselves look a certain way. Their whole life revolves around it and then after their pictures are taken, they are STILL EDITED. The images on tv, in the magazines, in the movies, they are NOT real. I repeat, those beautiful strong women, have been altered to look the way the media thinks will sell.

Well, here are 120 women who are real, raw, vulnerable. They are strong and courageous and brave and tender. Some are married some have children some wont ever want kids.

They are good every day people who are constantly comparing themselves to an unattainable standard. JUST LIKE YOU ARE!!

Ladies, enough is enough. Work out, eat well, sleep, Love, live, and thrive in your life and be confident in your body and what it can do. Because you are amazing. You are strong. You are brave. #yougotthis
